Buford Marshall Anderson, 85, passed away on April 13, 2018, at his residence. He was born on April 12, 1933, to the late William and Lillie Anderson (Craft) in Simpson County.
He was retired from Magnetek. He was an active member of Dry Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Craft (Carl), Tina Barnes (Kelly), and one son Jeffery Anderson; two sisters, Zelda Bankston(Robert) and Bobbie Nichols (Jim), and one brother, Joe Anderson (Shirley); five grandchildren, Brad Craft, Shelley Kemp (Zack), Joseph Thompson, Jacob Thompson, and Collins Barnes (Shobi); six great-grandchildren, Alex Kemp, Audrey Kemp, Avery Kemp, Madison Craft, Mikah Thompson, and David Aguliar.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Mamie Lee Patterson Anderson, and his parents; five brothers, W.H. Anderson (Helen), Odell Anderson, Bernice Anderson (Fay), Louis Anderson (Nelda), Bill Anderson (Margie), and two sisters, Ruby Ware (Vernon), and Shirley Overby (Gatho).
Visitation for friends will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee from 5:00 until 8:00 pm. Services will be on Tuesday, April 17, at 2:00 p. m, at Dry Creek Baptist Church with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
