CAPTAIN MIKE PARISH, MAGEE, MS

Captain Mike Parish, 57, of  Magee passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012, at Magee General Hospital.  Born in Magee on July 11, 1955, a son of Clifton Riley and the late Jewel (Harvey) Riley, he is survived by: his father and step-mother, Clifton and Barbara Riley; wife, Peggy (Brown) Parish; three sons, Aaron, J. D. (Britney), and Jimmy (Stephanie) Parish; three daughters, Peggy (Greg) Shows, Angel (Thomas) Warren, and Shug Parish; four brothers, David, Steve, Randy Riley, and Gary Parish;  and a sister, Judy Riley.  Mike, who worked as a boat captain, is also survived by numerous grandchildren: Michael Parish, Rebecca Lee, Jimmy Dueitt, Danny Parish, Scott Parish, Diamond Parish, Rachel Parish, Thomas Warren, Jr., Daniel Warren, Angel Warren, Blaken Parish, Addaleigh Parish, Caden Parish, Dalen Parish, Chloe Parish, Lexus Parish, Brayden Parish, and Aaron Parish's five children.  He is also survived by a special friend, James Counts. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.  Visitation will be Monday, August 27, 2012, from 5 pm until 8 pm at Tutor Fuenral Home, Magee.  Religious service will be at Tutor Funeral Home Chapel, Magee, at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, with Rev. Paul Barnard officiating.  Interment will be in a family cemetery.
