Charles H. St. John, 78, of Magee passed away Monday, April 30, 2012, at Belhaven Senior Care Center, in Jackson.  Born in Rankin County on May 27, 1933, a son of the late Mamie Elizabeth (Westerfield) St. John and Alva Paul St.John, he is survived by his wife, Mildred Walker St.John; a son, Brad (Sarita) Rainey, of Meridian; two daughters, Sherry Rainey, of Magee, and Pam (Joe) Pennington, of Jackson; a sister, Nina (Henry) Klipple, of Kyle, TX., and ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.  St. John, a retired Funeral Director, graduated from Brandon High School and played football for the North Allstar's football team.  He started in the  funeral service at Quigley Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, which is now Moore Funeral Home.  St.John attended the Commonwealth College of Sciences in Houston, Texas.  He  was a member  of Magee Lodge 553 where he served as Worthy Patron of Eastern Star several times.

Visitation wil be Tuesday, May 1, 2012, from 5 pm until 8 pm at Tutor Funeral Home, Magee.  Religious Service will be at Tutor Funeral Home Chapel, Magee, at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, with Rev. Joel Eavenson officiating.  Interment will be in Magee City Cemetery.
