Iva Jo Hilton, 59, of Mendenhall passed away Monday, March 5, 2012, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center.  Born in Magee on October 30, 1952, a daughter of the late Lavelle (Meador) and Leo Shows, Iva Jo attended Mendenhall High School and Copiah Lincoln Junior College.  She retired from Boswell Regional Center with seventeen years of service as a Direct Care Worker.  She loved spending time with her family, arts and crafts, and searching and collecting Native American artifacts.  Iva Jo is survived by: her husband, William "Bubba" Hilton, of Mendenhall; a son,Wesley (Barbara) Hilton, of Mendenhall; a daughter, Hollie Hilton, of Flowood; and one grandchild, Ellie Hilton.  She is also survived by a brother, Walter Shows, of Mendenhall; and three sisters, Gwen Ball, of Brandon; Virginia Sellers, of Jackson; and Sandra Anderson, of Mendenhall.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Keitha Shows. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 6, 2012, from 5 pm until 8 pm  at Tutor Funeral Home, Mendenhall and Wednesday, March 7, 2012, from 9 am until 10 am at Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church, Mendenhall. Religious service will follow at 10:00 am with Elder Lonnie Mozingo, Jr. and Brother Rudy Jackson officiating.   Interment will be in the church cemetery.
