Jerry Lee Odom, 81, of Braxton passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall. Jerry was born November 11, 1931 in Vicksburg, a son of the late Willie Lee Odom and Lottie Mae (Huff) Odom McGee. He was a retired Manager at Southeastern Poultry and also served in the U.S. Army. Jerry is survived by: daughters, Rhonda (Mickey) Welch, Sheila (Don) Sullivan, both of Pinola, Wanda (Dan) Lott of Mize, and Hope (Mitchell) Cline of Boone, NC. Jerry is also survived by: brothers, James McGee of Waco, TX, Raymond McGee of Morton, and Otis McGee, of Mendenhall; also, two sisters, Josephine Joy of Brandon, and Teensy Hardy of McComb. Surving grandchildren are: Angie (John Henry) Berry, Amanda (Thomas) Smith, Miranda (Leslie) Mallette, Marisa (Charlie) Ellis, Jason (Becky) Sullivan, and Joseph Sullivan. Other survivors include great grandchildren: Autumn Edwards, Preston Edwards, Ben Berry, Josh Berry, Ashley (Ken) Garner, Valerie Smith, Anna Grace Smith, Neland Sullivan, and Noah "Big Boy" Ellis. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Judi (Cockrell) Odom and brother Johnny McGee.Arrangements were entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Visitation will be from 5pm until 8 pm Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall with services at Jupiter Baptist Church, Braxton, MS, with Rev Roger Lee officiating Thursday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Jupiter Baptist Church Cemetery.
