Marie Sullivan Moore, 75, passed away Sunday, May 02, 2010, at Saint Dominic Hospital in Jackson , Mississippi .   Visitation will be at Tutor Funeral Home on Monday, May 3, 2010, from 5 pm until 7 pm, and from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 4, 2010.  Religious Service will be at Tutor Funeral Home Chapel in Magee at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, with Rev. John Adcock, her pastor at Eastside Baptist Church , officiating, and Rev. Seth Sullivan assisting.  Graveside services will follow at Lakewood Memorial Cemetery in Jackson at 1:30 pm.  Mrs. Moore was born in Smith County, MS on September 25, 1934, a  daughter of the late Myra (Runnels) and Harvey Sullivan.  She graduated from Mize High School in 1952. She spent her career with General Electric Company until she retired in 1985 after thirty-two years of service. 

Mrs. Moore leaves behind three sisters: Eva Casey, of Jackson , MS ; Gladys Miller, of Magee , MS ; and Bobbie Pope, of Newport News , VA.    Her friend of many years, Judy Brannon, also survives her, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.  Mrs. Moore always had a special love for her many pets and leaves behind her dog, "Sissy".  She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Moore: three sisters;  Louise Lott, Pauline Sullivan, and Braddys Grubbs; and two brothers; Chester Sullivan and Jack Sullivan. 

Mrs. Moore will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, aunt and friend with a special passion for welcoming those she loved into her home.  She loved fishing, gardening, cooking and always had something on the stove for everyone! 

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Saint Dominic's Hospital ICU and Dr. Paul Seago for the special care they gave to Mrs. Moore during her illness.
