Myrtle  C. Miller, 94, of  Mendenhall passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Simpson General Hospital. Born in Star, MS on July 23, 1918, a daughter of the late Lula (Moyers) and Ira Carson Cook, Mrs. Miller is survived by: a son, H. B. (Virginia) Miller, of Okolona; a daughter, Ilda Mae Taylor, of Mendenhall; four sisters, May Donnell, of Clinton; Minnie Hardwick, of Raymond; Margie Bell, of Flowood; and Mildred Ashley, of Johns.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Hillman B. Miller; three brothers, Carson, Harold and James Cook; two sisters, Merna Cook and Mable McGee; and a son-in-law, Ralph (Sonny) Taylor.  She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Mrs. Miller had retired as a co-owner of Miller Ford Tractor in Mendenhall. Visitation will be Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Main Street Baptist Church in Mendenhall from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm.  Religious service will be at the church at 10:00 am on Monday, July 30, 2012, with Rev. H. B. Miller and Rev. Hoyt Ainsworth officiating.   Interment will be in Mendenhall City Cemetery.
