Betty Sue Munn, 76, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Bedford Care Nursing Home in Mendenhall, MS.

Visitation will be at First Baptist Church Mendenhall, from 10:00 am to noon on Monday, April 1 with the memorial service to be held at First Baptist Church, Mendenhall at 2:00 pm.

Mrs. Munn was born in Mendenhall, MS to the late Kiley C. and Zera LaNelle Cockrell. She was a long time member of First Baptist Mendenhall, where she was a member of the choir, children's choir leader, and children's sunday school teacher. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed cooking, dogs, walking, music, Mendenhall High School, and Ole Miss sports, and was the loving wife of William G. Munn for 53 years.

She is preceded in death by: her parents; brothers, Leonard, Aubrey, and Grover Cockrell; sons, Jason Leonard and Jon Alan.

Mrs. Munn is survived by her husband, William G. Munn; daughters, Jennifer (Tommy) Ulmer of Laurel, Janna (Clint) Crockett of Madison; grandchildren, Will, Wes, and Reagan Crockett of Madison, Bradley and Bayleigh Grace Munn of Magee, Emily Sullivan and Karsyn Ulmer of Laurel, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Mendenhall.
