James Hubbard Ainsworth, 90, of Magee passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011, at the VA Hospital, Jackson. Born in Magee on May 29, 1921, a son of the late Martha Estelle (Herrington) and Jim Monroe Ainsworth, James is survived by: his wife, Catherine (Hall) Ainsworth; three sons James (Kristy) Ainsworth, Joey (Trenia) Ainsworth, and Stanley (Mary) Carr; four daughters, Kathy (Bobby) Kennedy, Martha (Ron) Jones, Clara (Jerry) Rortruck, and Patricia (George) King.  He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.  James had served in the U. S. Army during World War II, and had retired from Willmut Gas Company.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 17, 2011, from 5 pm until 8 pm at Tutor Funeral Home, Magee.

Religious service will be at Siloam Baptist Church, Magee, at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2011, with Rev. Paul Roberts, Rev. Raymond Jeffcoat and Rev. Bill Blair officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
