Kenneth H. White, 56, of Bogue Chitto, MS passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 10, 1957 to the late parents of Emma Rylant and Archie White. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Brenda Watts White; daughter Alisha (Jimmy) Douglas of Bogue Chitto, MS; his twin sister, Kim Anderson of Texas and 2 precious grandchildren, Joanna and Johnathan Douglas of Bogue Chitto.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Charles White and a sister, Patricia Grayson.

Phillip Wayne May,II, Flowood, MS

Phillip Wayne May, II, 30, of Flowood, passed away December 29, 2013 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born on March 6, 1984 to the parents of Deborah June Mobley May of Flowood and the late Phillip Wayne May. Along with his mother, Phillip is survived by a sister, Heather Marie Middleton of Meridian, MS; grandmother, June Pittman of Flowood, MS and one grandchild.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall from 10:00am - 11:00am followed by a graveside service and interment at Poplar Springs Cemetery in Mendenhall.

James Hubbard, Hattiesburg, MS

James Hubbard, 36, of Hattiesburg passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. James was born on March 17, 1977 to the parents of Rosie McClendon and the late James E. Hubbard. James is survived by his mother and two sisters, Gwendolyn Hubbard of Hattiesburg and Erica Barnes of Magee. He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Mt. Moriah Church in Magee, MS from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm. Services will be held at 1:00 pm at Mt. Moriah Church with Pastor Columbus O'Banner, Jr. and Pastor Jerry King officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery.

Gail B. Fortenberry, Pinola, MS

Gail Fortenberry, 73, of Pinola passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013. She was born on June 7, 1940 the daughter of the late Laudie Bishop and I.S. Bass. She was a retired school teacher. Gail is survived by her daughter, Susan (Brian) Miller of Madison, MS; neice, Sandra Dabbs; nephew, Jim Smiley and two grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua Miller. Along with her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her husband Reuben Dyer.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 1:30pm-3:00pm at Strong River Baptist Church in Pinola with services following in the church chapel. Interment will be in the Strong River Cemetery in Pinola. Arrangements were entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.

Linda Cockrell, Magee MS

securedownload[2]Linda Cockrell, 58, of Magee passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013. Born on January 22, 1955 to the parents of Gloria Berlene Nugent and the late Vernon L. Breland. Along with her mother, Linda is survived by her husband, Steve Cockrell, of Magee; sons, Steele (Brandi) Cockrell of Harrisville and Heath (Laura) Cockrell of Clinton, MS; half-sister, Verna Bench of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Logan and Conner Cockrell of Harrisville and Caroline Cockrell of Clinton. She was Meme to Gracee, Rylee, Zoee, Maddee Rankin and many others. Linda was preceded in death by her father and brothers, Glynn and Lynn Breland.

Visitation will be Monday, December 23, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Services will be Tuesday, December 24, at 11:00 am, with an hour visitation prior to the service, at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Magee, MS with Bro. Bill Blair and Bro. Gary Roberts officiating. Kenneth R. Ainsworth, Fairfield, Texas

Kenneth R. Ainsworth, 66, of Fairfield, TX passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. He was born July 11, 1947 in Magee, MS; to parents Ulius and Myrtis Thornton Ainsworth. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He married his wife Laretta on May 28, 1999. Kenneth had been a Fairfield resident for over six years having moved from Mississippi. He was a member of the Wilbur H. Bailey Post #5872 VFW, in Fairfield, TX. He was also a member of the Dew Methodist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ted Michael Ainsworth.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Laretta of Fairfield; four step-children, Teresa Broderick and husband John of Rangely, CO, Terry Richardson and Wife Lyn of Rangely, CO, Cricket Claussen and husband Cory of Palm Springs, CA, Nakina Powell and husband Vernon of Blue Mountain, CO; one brother, Paul J. Ainsworth and wife Clisa of Magee, MS; sister-in-law, Donna Ainsworth of Tupelo, MS; seven grandchildren and 14 great-granchildren; two nieces, Kristy Buffington and Hope Thompson, both of Raleigh, MS.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Services will be Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 11:00am in the Tutor Funeral Home Chapel in Magee. Interment with Honor Guard at Fairmont-Waco Cemetery in Mize, MS.

William Thomas Eady, 58, of Jackson, Ms passed away December 12, 2013 at his home. Born on August 5, 1955 to the late parents of Clarence and Clara Jane (Yates) Eady. He is survived by his wife, Tina (Entrekin) Eady of Jackson; son, Allen Eady of Magee; daughters, Angela Christine Eady of Texas, Carrie (Daniel) Decker of D'Lo, Amanda Lynn Eady of Richland and Stepanie Colyer of Terry; his brother, Don Eady of Southaven; sisters, Robin (Ed) Weeks of Maryland and Judy (David) Rushing of Arizona and seven grandchildren.

Jason Clayton Herrington, 13 months, son of Alicia (Atkins) and James Bradley Herrington of Mendenhall, passed away December 10, 2013 at Magee General Hospital. He is survived by; a brother, Peyton Herrington of Mendenhall; maternal grandfather, Billy Atkins of Magee; maternal great grandmother, Lena Wedgeworth of Mendenhall; paternal grandparents, James (Linda) Herrington of Magee and Willard Blakeney of Richland and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas Herrington; maternal grandmother, Velma Walker; maternal great grandparents, Clarence (Ruby) Rushing; paternal great grandparents L.G. Mildred L. Roberson, 70, of Ovett, MS passed away December 8, 2013 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. She was born on October 6, 1943 to the late parents of James and Frances Faucher Boyett. Mildred is survived by a son, Wesley Roberson, Jr. of Wyoming; daughters, Sharron Gravely of Petal and Mary Elaine Roberson of Ovett; sisters; Nancy Britt of Belzonia and Reba Peden of Florence; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Lula Mae (Caves) Keene of Mt. Olive; one son, Christopher Keene (Brenda) of Collins; one daughter, Kathy Rawls (Scott) of Ellisville; mother, Dorothy Keene of Mt. Olive; one brother, Charles Ray Keene (Mary Ann) Mt. Olive; one sister, Brenda Parrett (Robert) of Mt. Olive and two grandchildren.
